About Peppermints
Named after one of our pigs’ favorite treats, Peppermints is a monthly comic by Animal Caregiver Eli. Each comic offers a peek into everyday sanctuary life: small victories, BIG (and not-so-big) personalities, and the inside jokes that come from getting to know the Babes, including some you may not have met yet.
Eli has spent more than a decade caring for farmed animals in sanctuaries. He takes photos while he works and uses them as references for his illustrations, capturing the little details that make each Sanctuary Babe who they are.
