In loving memory of...

Echo

Echo was part of the original OMI family. She was rescued from a dairy operation after she was born with a leg deformity. She needed a simple operation to correct it and she thrived after we helped her get that surgery. We did physical therapy. We changed bandages. We routinely managed her compulsion with getting her head stuck in the fence. We adjusted her fencing and her environment endlessly to keep her safe. She was a very challenging little goat to manage, but we did it with nothing but love for her.

Echo’s passing was very unexpected. She died suddenly after accidentally ingesting a toxic plant.

See you on the other side, Echo-girl. Keep your head out of the fence, k?
