Youth Education

Hands-On Learning for the Next Generation

We are developing our own regionally appropriate youth education initiative that reflects the unique needs of our sanctuary and our community here in Middle Tennessee.

This new program will feature dedicated Youth Volunteer Days designed specifically for high school students who are interested in animal care, environmental sustainability, and compassionate leadership. These volunteer opportunities will offer hands-on experience with rescued animals, exposure to sanctuary operations, and guided service-learning hours with built-in mentorship.

We’re excited to build something that speaks directly to the youth in our region. Stay tuned for more details, including volunteer dates and other information!

TN Promise Eligibility

All youth volunteer hours at Odd Man Inn will be eligible for submission to tnAchieves and may be used to fulfill the TN Promise scholarship requirement. We are proud to support students pursuing education and ethical leadership through meaningful service.
