Sally Mae is a mature female who lives in the Cabin House neighborhood with her friends Knox and Scarlett. With her distinctive black and white coat and forward facing ears, Sally Mae can often be spotted walking across the field to relax in one of the contraband swamps dug up by her friends–though she is never one to get her snout dirty in such illicit activity! She has a “go with the flow” demeanor and gets along easily with both fellow pigs and human caregivers. Sally Mae was spayed as part of our effort to provide necessary preventive reproductive healthcare to all of the females in the Tennessee herd, and at the time of her spay she was found to have a cystic uterus. Thanks to our skilled vet partners at UT, Sally Mae now lives a healthy and carefree life.
