This was always Buckwheat’s best photo…and so it shall be her last. She was the last remaining survivor of a little crew we called the Curmudgeons, which included Alfalfa, Spanky, Stymie, Button, and Big Ole Rhonda. It’s been hard to watch Buckwheat wait her turn to join her friends, but it finally happened for her. She followed them home.
Buckwheat was a sassy little grandma who experienced so many changes these last three years that we’ve been part of her life. She was spayed and vaccinated. Her barn was clean and dry. She ate delicious, healthy meals with PRECISELY the right amount of water in them. She was loved and respected for who she was and her absolutely perfect side-eye. We will always miss her in the MedBarn.
