Bubbles is one of the many bright pink Yorkshire pigs surrendered to OMI when we took over in Tennessee. These pink pigs are highly susceptible to skin cancer, and the best way to manage that problem is prevention. Bubbles is an older girl who does not like sunscreen application, and we do our best to gently coax her to allow it. Starting that process when pigs are young makes the process much easier for them. Adding awnings to the houses has created more shaded spaces for the pigs, which they really love. It helps in situations where a pig like Bubbles refuses sunscreen.
