Wynken, Blynken and Nod are the older version of the Pantalones! They’re three siblings who sought safety here after being abandoned and neglected as youngsters. These three were part of the 159 pigs surrendered to OMI when we took over this property in Tennessee, and it was easy to tell they were a bonded trio of family members. Blynken is the blonde girl, and she has one of the prettiest speckled patterns you’ve ever seen. She was part of the 54 females we spayed here between 2021 and 2023, and her life is inordinately more peaceful because of it. Having female pigs spayed is a critical part of preventative healthcare for female pigs as the incidence of abnormalities and cancer is so high with them. We expect her to live a long, happy life here with her siblings because of the exceptional care provided by our vet partners at the University of Tennessee.
