Known for her morning-after party eyeliner, Twinkie is one of our older female residents and lives in the Cabin House neighborhood. Very much a leader in her community, Twinkie is an extremely independent and no-nonsense type of lady. She enjoys a good swamp as much as a good nap in the sun. Since Twinkie is an all-pink sun worshiper, the caregivers sometimes have to work extra hard (by bringing treats) to get her consent for sunscreen during the warmer months. Twinkie absolutely knows she calls all the shots! Like so many of our aging residents, Twinkie has arthritis and takes daily medication to keep her as pain free as possible and her sassy spirit high. Despite her slightly advanced age, Twinkie was a healthy candidate for surgery and was spayed as part of our effort to prioritize preventive female reproductive healthcare among the Tennessee herd.
