We were contacted by a neighboring community animal control office looking for some help with a little nugget that had been in some “trouble.” BeBop was a very young intact male who was out on the streets, unaccompanied and looking for adventure. Oak Ridge doesnât allow pigs as pets, and his person either wasnât willing or able to find him a different home.
As our 2025 HOA President Falkor would say, âWe donât leave vulnerable little guys in the county shelter⊠we do our best to make space for them. We open our arms and welcome them to Sanctuary Babe life.â You got it, sir. No Babe Left Behind!
BeBop proceeded directly to the University of Tennessee where he received the Sanctuary Babe Special, spent his thirty days in quarantine lamenting the strong fencing, and is now settled into the MedBarn Neighborhood, where he is making lots of new friends.
