Buckwheat is a quiet, older lady who was rescued along with three other pigs: Alfalfa, Stymie, & Spanky. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Buckwheat is an independent gal. She enjoys the company of her herd mates in the Med Barn from a bit of a distance, and she gives the absolute perfect side-eye. While Buckwheat generally likes her space, she has been caught occasionally cuddling with other pigs in the Med Barn, like J. Lo. At times, she will accept an offer of a scritch from the humans who are otherwise just there to serve her every need.
