This young Berkshire girl was abandoned in a rural neighborhood, and she got lucky enough to find humans willing to help her get to safety. Many BAD things happen to farmed animals when they’re left to fend for themselves, but even worse things can happen when they meet the wrong people. Ginny–who was named by the kind folks who helped her–thankfully found the right people who found it in their hearts to love and protect her.
Ginny was transported straight to the University of Tennessee for initial intake vetting, vaccines, microchip, deworming, and the ever important spay–what we affectionately refer to as the Sanctuary Babe Special.
Please note that Ginny weighed in at 377 pounds, and she’s just a baby. Seems we’re really solidifying the reputation that we’re who to call when you need Big Pig People!
We hear that she is a master digger and will almost certainly be Team Contraband Swamp.
