Meet Roy!

Sex: Male

Rosy and Roy were part of a small meat operation here in Fentress County, Tennessee. When the owners decided it was no longer lucrative for them to breed pigs, they sought homes for their bonded pair of mature adults. Both came to us in need of medical care including spay and neuter, deworming, vaccinations and weight gain. After a few months of extra care in our Med Barn, we helped them transition to our Gen Pop herd. Meishans typically have very poor eyesight because of the wrinkles on their faces, so they do require some extra care to ensure their needs are met in the big herd. They manage perfectly with a little extra support, and it’s a joy to watch them flourish with the right level of care.
