Journey was the perfect picture of confidence and self-love. That’s why we love this photo of her. We imagine she was looking at the camera with pride, knowing just how beautiful her life had turned out despite the enormous odds stacked against her.
The number of animals killed every single day is staggering. For food. For sport. For “security.” For nothing at all. To have even one of them find their way to the safety of a vegan farmed animal sanctuary is truly miraculous!
Journey was rescued as a baby and spent nearly her entire life in safety and peace. She was spayed. She had her vaccines. She had medical records and protective guardians who adored her. She was surrounded by pig people she loved in the Cabin House Neighborhood. She had a best friend, Luna Rose, who passed away earlier in 2026.
We are so grateful for the time we had with Journey. She was a joy to know and we will miss her.
