In loving memory of...

Mama Miracle

Leave a Note in Memory of Mama Miracle

Mama Miracle lived in the Feral Neighborhood with her daughter, Baby Miracle. They were two of the 159 pigs surrendered to us when we moved to Tennessee in 2021. The pair were able to stay together to live out their lives–which is unfortunately a rarity in the world of farmed animals.

Caring for vulnerable animals who were selectively bred for what their bodies can produce means we have a lot of Sanctuary Babes who struggle as they age. Arthritis is a terrible thing for our pig friends. Mama Miracle struggled with it pretty severely the last few months. We tried all our tricks and meds to help her, but arthritis wins every time.

Mama Miracle will be missed by Baby Miracle, her good friend Millie, Charity and the rest of her friends in the Feral Neighborhood.
