Daisy “Long Legs” is a tall, regal, elderly Hampshire-mix pig with unique brown and white coloring. She lives in the Carpet House neighborhood, which is the notorious stomping ground for the retired grandmas of the herd. Along with her sister, Daphne, Daisy was spayed when she was about six months old–a practice that should be the standard of care for all female pigs. Daphne passed away recently from age and breed-related arthritis, a condition that also affects Daisy. However, Daisy still has her independence and serves as the matron of her house. She is well respected by her family members, which include Scarlett, Sally Mae, Easter, Kiwi, Ruby, Baron, Timbo, Butch, Puddles, Sundance and Toot.
