Dixie is a mature, female, all black potbelly pig…with the exception of the frosted tips on her winter mohawk! Dixie is Doc’s best gal (and boss gal), and together, they are the gossip duo of the Med Barn. Dixie and Doc are always side-by-side, and they both have a lot to say about the goings-on at the sanctuary. Dixie will only interrupt her own squeaks and grunts to flop down for belly rubs when a human is near. While Dixie loves to snuggle most closely with Doc at bedtime, she also makes sure to stay close to her other family members–Hazel, Hamlet, Willie, Petunia and JoJo.
