Frodo and his friend Samwise were discarded as trash when they were just babies. They won the lottery in finding ONE person to show them compassion by taking them in. That single act of compassion is the common denominator in every rescue love story. Their caregiver needed some help with long-term placement, and here they are today.
Helping local vulnerable animals is a cornerstone of our work. The whole reason we moved our operation to Tennessee in 2021 was to help meet this type of need. The lack of resources here is staggering and disheartening for farmed animals, and we help the ones we can!
Frodo recently had the Sanctuary Babe Special at the University of Tennessee. He will hang out in quarantine with Samwise for a few weeks before finding a GenPop neighborhood to call their permanent home.
